Puripol smashed the under-18 world record for the 100 metres with a time of 10.09 seconds in the semi-finals of this year’s World Athletics U20 championships in Cali, Colombia
A piece of history for Puripol as he becomes one of the youngest ever Champions in SEA Games Athletics. And the youngest ever in Men’s 200m. Aswell as again breaking the SEA Games Record. He runs 20.37 over 200m. He becomes the third fastest U-18 at the distance after Erriyon Knighton and Usain Bolt.

Muhammad Azeem bin Mohd Fahmi is a Malaysian sprinter. Azeem improved his best time; he bettered his pre-2022 best of 10.57 to win the Malaysia Open Championships and lowered the time of 10.37 during the KL All Comers Championship.
Azeem Fahmi currently holds the national 100m record with 10.09 at the Under-20 World Athletics Championships at the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium in Cali, Colombia.
